The Medical Technologist – Hospital Laboratory role is onsite in Brooksville, FL, on the third shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift options and rotating weekends. The technologist supports a hospital laboratory performing stat and routine testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology. The role produces timely and accurate laboratory results that support patient care. It includes quality control, interpretation of patient data, troubleshooting equipment and discrepancies, maintaining supplies, supporting regulatory compliance, and communicating critical results according to protocol.
What you'll do
- Perform routine and stat testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
- conduct quality control
- interpret and correlate patient data, including delta checks
- troubleshoot instruments and result discrepancies
- maintain equipment
- manage reagents and supplies
- support CAP and other regulatory compliance
- handle and communicate critical results
- report findings accurately and promptly.

Why this role
