Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Huntersville, NC, with a night schedule of 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. Pay is $25–$28 per hour. NCW is recruiting for a client company; hiring decisions will be made by that employer. The technician maintains production equipment and facility systems to support site operations. The work combines scheduled preventive maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs, while following safety, food-safety, sanitation, and lockout/tagout procedures.

What you'll do

• Follow preventive maintenance and maintenance schedules
• coordinate work with production
• process work orders and maintain parts inventory
• perform emergency and scheduled equipment repairs
• read manuals and schematics
• install, move, repair, and remove equipment and utilities
• diagnose problems and replace or repair parts
• maintain machines and facilities
• report faulty operations and unusual conditions
• follow safety, PPE, food-safety, sanitation, and lockout/tagout procedures.
