The Laser Operator — Weekend Shift role is onsite in Carter Lake, IA, paying $21–$24 per hour. The operator runs and maintains laser-cutting equipment, troubleshoots production issues, and verifies materials and cut quality. The role supports safe, accurate production and shift continuity through equipment care, documentation, and communication with other operators.

What you'll do

• Oversee laser-cutting operations and maintenance during the shift
• check and replace filters and cylinders
• troubleshoot production issues
• identify and gauge materials using mic readings and color codes
• maintain equipment and report tool or nozzle issues
• complete paperwork accurately
• communicate during shift transitions
• keep the work area clean and safe
• collaborate with operators and train new team members as needed
• follow ISO standards and company procedures.
