Swine Nutrition Research Technician

The Swine Nutrition Research Technician works onsite in Pipestone, MN, for $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience. The role works with PIPESTONE’s Nutrition, Research, and Sow Production teams on research intended to answer producer questions and advance the pork industry. The technician supports nutrition and production trials by collecting accurate data, maintaining records, and participating in animal-care activities. Following research protocols, biosecurity standards, and safety procedures helps produce reliable findings and address research and operational challenges.

What you'll do

• Assist with swine nutrition and production research trials
• collect and record research data
• work with Nutrition, Research, and Sow Production teams
• participate in animal care including weighing, tagging, bleeding, and feeder measurements
• maintain records and enter data in Microsoft Excel
• follow research protocols, biosecurity standards, and safety procedures
• help identify and solve research and operational challenges.
