The teacher leads a safe, nurturing classroom and plans developmentally appropriate learning through play, music, movement, stories, and hands-on activities. The role supports children’s language, social-emotional growth, independence, and early problem-solving while guiding assistant teachers and maintaining classroom routines.

What you'll do

• Create a safe, organized, and engaging toddler classroom
• plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
• support language, social-emotional growth, independence, and age-appropriate skills
• build relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• use positive guidance
• maintain routines, lesson plans, materials, and documentation
• guide assistant teachers
• maintain active supervision and follow childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
