What you'll do

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and operate qualified department equipment
• coordinate work and resolve production or equipment problems under supervisor direction
• perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• adjust line speeds to meet standards and maximize production while maintaining quality
• complete operational and pre-operational checks and submit repair requests
• monitor food safety and quality limits
• maintain work areas and equipment
• distribute and review preventive maintenance reports
• assist with employee training and monitoring
• record department supply inventory
• occasionally operate a forklift
• assume some supervisor duties in the supervisor’s absence.
