Environmental Engineer

The Environmental Engineer role is based onsite in either Greenville or Greenwood, SC, with some remaining work hours flexible or remote; compensation is not specified. The engineer coordinates environmental projects and compliance work, helping public, industrial, and commercial clients meet regulatory requirements. The role combines technical project delivery with client and agency communication, staff oversight, and business development to support the firm’s environmental and civil engineering services.

What you'll do

• Coordinate environmental projects, compliance and monitoring programs, and regulatory approvals
• communicate with clients and environmental agencies
• prepare proposals and bids
• oversee staff engineers and technical subordinates
• work on industrial wastewater treatment design, permitting, and compliance
• support air permitting, modeling, and compliance
• prepare stormwater and SPCC plans
• prepare audits, reports, plans, and technical documents
• coordinate NEPA studies
• work on due diligence, noise studies, and asbestos and lead-based-paint surveys and planning.

Why this role
