What you'll do

• Assess symptom-based encounters
• evaluate patient concerns by phone and determine an appropriate place of care
• respond to refill, results, and other clinical requests
• collect and interpret patient information
• apply evidence-based decision-support tools
• document telephone encounters in SBAR format
• complete overdue patient callbacks
• support clinic LPNs and CMAs with clinical questions requiring higher-level assessment.
