The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist role is onsite in Lexington, KY. Compensation is not specified. Ayoroa Simmons provides Building Information Modeling, Virtual Design and Construction, and 3D laser scanning services to the architecture, engineering, construction, and owner industry. The role develops and coordinates BIM models for construction, maintains interdisciplinary consistency, and resolves coordination issues across project systems. It supports project teams and clients by producing coordinated models and technical drawings, facilitating virtual coordination, and maintaining quality procedures and project tracking.

What you'll do

• Lead development and coordination of schematic and detailed BIM models
• facilitate virtual 3D coordination meetings
• coordinate model integration with internal teams and external stakeholders
• maintain BIM and VDC processes and standards
• manage 2D and 3D information
• produce models and technical drawings using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related platforms
• maintain schedules, issue logs, meeting minutes, and performance metrics
• improve BIM quality assurance and quality control procedures.
