The Cook — Night Shift role is an onsite, part-time position in Saint George, UT, with shifts Monday–Saturday, 3:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.; the kitchen is closed Sundays. Pay is $17 per hour, guaranteed (base plus tips). The role supports Aubergine Kitchen’s evening and closing production. The cook prepares dinner production, follows food-safety and cooling procedures, and maintains organized, clean work areas through closing. Accurate preparation and handover records help sustain food quality and support the morning team.

What you'll do

• Prepare protein batches for dinner service based on projected sales and par levels
• manage leftovers to minimize waste
• measure and record food temperatures during cooking, cooling, and reheating
• rotate items using FIFO
• clean, sanitize, and organize equipment and surfaces
• communicate preparation and cooling records to the morning team
• assist with closing duties
• monitor ingredient usage and report shortages or equipment and safety issues.
