Plywood Production Operator Trainee

Job overview

The Plywood Production Operator Trainee role is onsite in Chester, SC. Compensation is $18.66 per hour. The trainee supports production operators and learns to run green-end, dryer, layup, and saw lines. The role contributes to safe, continuous production through cleanup, relief coverage, and assistance to plant teams.

What you'll do

• Clean debris around machinery using blowers, shovels, and pitchforks
• cover breaks and vacations as a relief operator
• follow plant safety and environmental procedures
• identify potential hazards
• assist team members during plywood and veneer production
• learn production-line operations.
