The physician provides comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and geriatric patients, including preventive care, chronic disease and medication management, acute care, and coordination of complex health needs. Teaching, mentoring, and supervising residents and medical students are opportunities associated with the Family Medicine Residency Program.

What you'll do

• Provide outpatient family medicine and geriatric care
• conduct histories, examinations, and diagnoses
• manage acute and chronic conditions
• provide preventive care and screenings
• order and interpret tests
• develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
• coordinate follow-up and specialist care
• educate patients and families
• document in electronic health records
• participate in care huddles and quality improvement
• serve as a clinical resource
• participate in after-hours coverage as assigned.
