The cook prepares and serves nutritious meals in a safe, clean, and efficient cafeteria environment, following planned menus, recipes, food-safety requirements, and production schedules.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to planned menus and standardized recipes
• maintain proper cooking and holding temperatures
• assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service
• maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness
• monitor inventory and report supply needs
• receive and store deliveries
• follow health regulations and school and company policies
• collaborate with kitchen and cafeteria staff.
