The Building Maintenance role is onsite at GLAD Administration in Los Angeles, CA, and pays $28.50–$29.81 per hour. The Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness is a nonprofit serving deaf, hard-of-hearing, deafblind, and deaf-disabled communities across Southern California. The role maintains the administration building and surrounding property through repairs, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, project oversight, documentation, and routine cleaning, helping keep the facility safe and operational.

What you'll do

• Perform painting, drywall, and other building-related maintenance
• identify and resolve building problems
• oversee outside service providers and vendors
• maintain preventive maintenance
• manage building and property projects
• document work and maintain equipment and maintenance files
• perform cleaning tasks
• secure the facility after 5 p.m. Monday–Friday
• communicate fluently in American Sign Language.

Why this role

Fluency in American Sign Language is required; a California driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; a B-1 General Contractor license is strongly desirable.
