Personal Care Assistant

Job overview

The Personal Care Assistant works onsite in Greensboro, NC, providing care in clients’ homes. Pay is $12–$15 per hour. Right at Home’s care team supports older adults with personal needs and comfort at home. The assistant follows established care plans to help clients with daily activities, observe their physical and mental well-being, and document care and report concerns. The role contributes to clients’ comfort and supports communication with their families and the agency.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care and related paraprofessional services according to an established plan of care
• assist with daily activities
• provide standby assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other basic activities
• observe clients’ day-to-day physical and mental health
• document care and report concerns according to agency policy.
