Structural Engineer — Water

The Structural Engineer — Water role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $100,000–$165,000 per year. The position works on structural design and engineering projects involving civil infrastructure and commercial, retail, and industrial buildings. The role develops and coordinates technical designs, conducts field reviews and site observations, and supports project delivery through engineering analysis, reporting, proposals, and design standards. It contributes structural expertise across project teams and helps deliver infrastructure and building projects.

What you'll do

• Plan and design structures including pump stations, culverts, water conveyance facilities, storage tanks, retaining walls, and commercial and industrial buildings
• perform technical design and coordinate with other disciplines
• conduct field reviews and site observations
• use and direct computer-aided design and analysis software
• coordinate project tasks with internal teams, clients, and external teams
• assist with proposals, technical reports, and engineering design and drafting standards.
