Orthodontic Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

The Orthodontic Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) position is onsite in Marlton, NJ, with compensation of $28–$31 per hour. The role supports the orthodontist and clinical team in delivering patient care and maintaining efficient treatment workflows. The assistant prepares treatment areas, provides chairside support, helps patients understand care instructions, and obtains diagnostic records. The role also maintains infection-control standards, clinical records, supplies, and coordination with the front office.

What you'll do

• Prepare chairs, instruments, materials, and equipment
• assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures
• provide suction and instrument transfer
• assist with orthodontic appliances under provider supervision and state guidelines
• escort and prepare patients
• support patient comfort and education
• take and process radiographs, photographs, digital scans, and impressions
• follow sterilization, infection-control, and OSHA protocols
• maintain operatories and supplies
• document clinical records and coordinate with the front office.

Why this role
