Job overview

What you'll do

• Room patients and document histories, complaints, medications, and allergies
• prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• assist providers during medical and surgical procedures
• perform or coordinate specimen collection, wound care, suture removal, injections, and other directed treatments
• process laboratory specimens
• triage calls and messages
• document visits in the electronic medical record
• maintain exam rooms and supplies
• and follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and compliance standards.
