The CT Technologist role is an onsite, full-time position located in Fairfax, VA. Compensation is not specified. This role supports the Fair Oaks Outpatient Imaging Center by performing imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. This role exists to perform computerized tomography procedures as prescribed by a physician, instruct patients on requirements, and ensure the safety and quality of imaging services. The technologist maintains a clean, safe work area and supports the general operation of the office.

What you'll do

• Perform computerized tomography procedures.
• Instruct patients on procedure requirements.
• Ascertain contradictions and medical history.
• Prepare patients for exams, position them, and administer contrast.
• Assure consent forms are signed.
• Process exam-related information.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Recognize reactions to contrast media.
• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Promote a team approach.
