Medication Technician

Job overview

The Medication Technician role is onsite in Florence, OR. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour. The role supports residents at Spruce Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care. The technician manages medication preparation, administration, and documentation while assisting residents with daily living and monitoring their health. Accurate records, timely communication, and coordinated care help support resident safety and dignity.

What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to policies, physician orders, and state regulations
• maintain Medication Assistance Records
• verify and update physician orders as needed
• order, receive, and securely store medications
• maintain the medication room
• assist residents with activities of daily living
• record vital signs and report health changes
• provide first aid and wound care when necessary
• coordinate care with outside healthcare professionals as directed.

Why this role
