What you'll do

• Operate, inspect, and monitor boilers, turbines, auxiliary equipment, and other systems as qualified and assigned
• perform operational checks, startup and shutdown, equipment tests, and adjustments
• respond to emergencies and unit upsets
• isolate power sources for maintenance clearances
• record operating conditions
• identify abnormal operation and initiate trouble reports
• assist control, maintenance, and management staff.
