What you'll do

• Work with senior leadership to improve feeding, housing, sanitation, and parasite and disease control practices for pigs, sows, or gilts. Oversee feeding, watering, and ventilation systems and recommend improvements. Assess animal health
• participate in treatment and vaccination administration
• oversee selection and movement of animals
• enter assessment data. May engage in or direct gruel feeding, mat feeding, handfeeding, sow and gilt activity documentation, estrus detection, and insemination. Assess breeding practices and recommend improvements to production efficiency and animal quality.
