Accountant / Finance Assistant

Job overview

The Accountant / Finance Assistant role is onsite in Arlington, WA, and is full-time with a flexible schedule. Pay is $30–$40 per hour. The role supports the Aging and Disability Resources Network (ADRN), which provides services for older adults and people with disabilities. The position maintains accurate grant accounting, compliance, billing, and reporting while supporting payroll, month-end close, and audit preparation. It helps ensure grant-funded programs are properly tracked and reported to funders and supports financial planning for ADRN leadership.

What you'll do

• Manage grant allocations and multi-source budgets
• coordinate annual budgets and monthly expenditure reports
• code invoices and prepare grant billing and reporting
• submit grant invoices
• prepare financial statements and assist with audits
• process payroll and related journal entries
• monitor budget-to-actual spending
• maintain grant documentation
• prepare reimbursement requests
• reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
• track matching contributions, assets, and cost allocations
• support grant applications and contract renewals
• prepare financial summaries.
