What you'll do

• Perform patient examinations and assess vital signs
• communicate with clients and obtain medical histories
• conduct laboratory procedures
• perform diagnostic imaging and follow safety protocols
• assist with surgery and maintain a sterile environment
• monitor anesthesia and perform endotracheal intubation
• provide dental prophylaxis
• restrain patients, administer medications, apply and maintain bandages, and support hospitalized patients
• prepare and dispense medications, calculate dosages, and recognize adverse reactions.
