HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is a 50+ bed hospital serving the south Houston communities. This role supports the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting with procedures and providing direct patient care within the scope of licensure. The technologist is key to coordinating communication and ensuring quality patient outcomes.

What you'll do

• Demonstrates proper use of diagnostic/interventional radiographic equipment.
• Applies sterile technique in radiological procedures.
• Possesses knowledge of and demonstrates proper documentation in MacLab and Meditech.
• Demonstrates ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and must be ACLS/BCLS Certified.
• Adheres to Infection Control Policies.
• Demonstrates proper usage and handling of defibrillator.
• Delivers safe and effective direct patient care.
• Recognizes department specific equipment and assists in proper daily maintenance.
• Acts as Radiation Safety Officer in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Pursues educational opportunities and maintains certifications.
