CNC Machinist II (1st Shift) is an onsite role in Rancho Cordova, CA. Pay is $30–$38 per hour. The machinist joins Prototek’s manufacturing team to produce accurate, high-quality parts. The role performs intermediate to complex machining, CNC setups, program modifications, and multi-axis machining. It also offers an opportunity to support less experienced machinists and improve machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines
• perform multi-axis machining, including 3+1 and/or 3+2 indexing
• interpret complex blueprints and GD&T requirements
• machine parts to tight tolerances and determine acceptable surface finishes
• apply mill or lathe concepts to improve efficiency.
