Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Technician (CNC/PLC)

The Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Technician (CNC/PLC) role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT; pay is $28–$45 per hour, negotiable based on experience. The technician supports Atlas Seals’ CNC machines and custom automation in a production environment. The role maintains and repairs production equipment to improve reliability and machine uptime. It combines preventive maintenance with troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems, while supporting equipment improvements and safe operations.

What you'll do

• Own preventive maintenance for CNC lathes, mills, Wire EDMs, and other equipment
• troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and custom automation
• service pneumatics and basic hydraulics
• diagnose industrial electrical and controls issues
• interpret drawings, manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• use diagnostic tools to isolate faults
• assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and continuous-improvement projects
• maintain preventive-maintenance schedules and document work
• collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to identify patterns and improve uptime
• follow Lockout/Tagout and other safety procedures.
