What you'll do
- Triage daily referral requests for Commercial, MMAI, and Medicare Advantage plans
- verify commercial insurance and plan benefits
- review referrals for completeness and readiness for case-manager preauthorization
- serve as a liaison among marketing, facility admissions, and MCO case management
- maintain and close out the managed care referral log
- assist the Case Management Consultant with authorization and communications.
