Job overview
The Body Technician (FRT) is an onsite role based in Grove City, OH. Compensation is not specified, and this position supports the collision and glass repair operations at Gerber Collision & Glass. The technician is responsible for disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
What you'll do
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan
- plan repair work and prepare cost estimates
- use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers
- hammer out dents and apply filler resins
- realign car chassis and frames
- remove and replace damaged sections and interior parts
- weld and attach parts
- prepare and repaint vehicles
- inspect vehicles after repair.
