What you'll do

• Assemble mechanical parts for overhead cranes and hoists, including bearings and couplings on shafts
• fabricate, fit, and install components using basic hand tools
• read and follow shop drawings and assembly instructions
• operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely
• follow industrial safety procedures on the shop floor and at heights
• handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• maintain reliable attendance and work extended shifts or Saturdays when required.
