Lube & Tire Technician – Morenci, AZ

Job overview

The Lube & Tire Technician role is onsite at the FMI Morenci In-Pit Mine in Arizona, with a Monday–Friday day shift from 4:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $20 per hour, with additional pay offered for CDL holders and/or certified welders. CTI is a local hauling company serving the mining and construction industries across the Southwest. The technician maintains and services fleet equipment by lubricating components, changing filters, servicing tires, and performing minor repairs. The role also inspects equipment, records service work, reports defects, and supports the maintenance team’s safe and reliable operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain service records and report equipment defects
• assist with maintenance activities
• use entry-level mechanical tools
• troubleshoot and repair equipment
• lubricate moving parts
• change oil, fuel, water, and air filters
• change, repair, switch, and rotate tires
• perform minor mechanical repairs
• assist with service calls and general maintenance
• enter data in maintenance software
• obtain parts from stock
• inspect equipment for safety and maintenance issues
• wear required PPE.
