Security Technician

Job overview

The Security Technician role is an onsite position based in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is not specified for this role, which supports the Securitas Technology service department in maintaining integrated security solutions. This role exists to provide technical service on security systems and equipment at customer sites. The technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving post-installation issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring system performance and uptime.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance on intrusion, video, access control, fire and integrated systems, contact customers to schedule calls, escalate problems, report service ticket data, interact professionally with customers, maintain communication, manage truck stock, attend training, and complete reports.
