The Peer Mental Health Support Specialist (PMHSS) role is onsite in Newark, OH. Compensation is $19.83–$23.89 per hour. Using lived experience with mental health challenges, the specialist provides individualized, strengths-based, recovery-oriented support to youth and families. The role helps with emotional regulation, coping skills, and navigation of behavioral health services while collaborating with the Care Coordinator and Child and Family Team on goals in the Individualized Care Plan.

What you'll do

• Use lived experience appropriately and professionally to support youth and families
• provide structured, strengths-based, recovery-oriented support
• assist with emotional regulation, coping skill development, and behavioral health service navigation
• collaborate with the Care Coordinator, providers, and Child and Family Team to support engagement and progress toward Individualized Care Plan goals.
