Test & Automation Analyst

Job overview

The Test & Automation Analyst role is onsite in Sierra Vista, AZ. Compensation is $40,000–$65,000 per year. The analyst supports T-Rex Solutions’ DISA Joint Interoperability Test Command TEC II program, which supports the Defense Information Systems Agency’s mission and joint warfighters. The role validates software requirements and application features through functional, integration, and regression testing while helping advance automated testing. Its work helps SCRUM teams deliver high-quality software by identifying defects, tracking quality, and aligning testing with project requirements and acceptance criteria.

What you'll do

• Analyze user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements
• design, write, and execute test cases and scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing
• identify, document, and track defects and collaborate on reproduction or root-cause analysis
• coordinate with SCRUM teams, developers, and program management
• maintain and execute automated testing scripts
• participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• report testing status and quality metrics.
