What you'll do

• Process assigned medical-record requests
• validate requests and patient authorizations for HIPAA and policy compliance
• classify and log requests
• retrieve and upload records
• perform quality-control checks
• invoice and release valid requests
• document exceptions and communications
• respond to requestor inquiries
• securely store records
• alert supervisors to unusual requests, suspected breaches, delays, or technical issues.
