Lead Awning Installation Technician

Job overview

The Lead Awning Installation Technician role is onsite in Midvale, UT, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and some Saturdays required. Pay is $18–$30 per hour. SugarHouse Industries manufactures custom textile products, including awnings and coverings, for residential, commercial, military, and aerospace markets. The technician leads installation work that delivers custom awnings and a strong customer experience. The role coordinates with a small installation team to prepare for scheduled appointments and install products safely and efficiently at customer properties.

What you'll do

• Review orders and participate in morning production meetings
• coordinate with a team of 2–4 installers
• load tools, equipment, and products onto a company truck
• travel to scheduled appointments
• use ladders, hand tools, and power tools to install awnings
• communicate respectfully and courteously with clients
• provide customer service during installations.
