The Maintenance Technician, First Shift role is onsite in Monticello, MN. Compensation is $28.27–$34.44 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. U.M.C. is a manufacturer of complex precision parts, and this role supports production equipment and site business goals. The technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production equipment to support reliable operations and production schedules. The role performs preventive maintenance, responds to equipment failures, documents work, and sources parts and services to reduce downtime.

What you'll do

• Maintain CNC and other mechanical equipment
• diagnose failures and plan repairs
• perform scheduled preventive maintenance with machinists
• process and prioritize work requests
• update equipment records in company software
• use manuals, schematics, and control-system knowledge to troubleshoot
• use inspection equipment to verify precision
• estimate repair costs
• and source parts and services.

Why this role
