Manual Machinist — Aerospace

The Manual Machinist role is onsite in Westminster, SC, with first shift from 7 AM–3 PM or second shift from 3 PM–11 PM; second shift pays a differential. Compensation is not specified. RBC AeroStructures manufactures precision-engineered products for demanding environments and is expanding manufacturing operations. The machinist sets up and operates manually controlled machines and inspects finished parts against print specifications. The work supports production quality through safe machine operation, accurate documentation, basic troubleshooting, and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions.

What you'll do

• Set up, tend, and operate manual lathes, drill presses, vertical mills, and/or swaging machines
• select and secure fixtures, tools, attachments, and materials
• inspect machined products against print specifications
• maintain paperwork
• troubleshoot basic issues
• keep the work area and equipment orderly and follow safety procedures.

Why this role
