What you'll do

• Assist orthodontists with bonding, banding, archwire changes, and appliance placement or removal
• take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs and obtain impressions or digital scans
• prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• follow OSHA and infection-control standards
• educate patients and parents about treatment, oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions
• assist with clear aligners and retainer delivery
• document treatment and progress in electronic health records
• collaborate with doctors and team members to support patient flow and service.
