The Petroleum Construction Technician / Underground Storage Tank Installer role is onsite in Kalispell, MT, with projects at commercial sites throughout the region. Compensation is $32–$38 per hour, depending on experience. Nwestco works in the petroleum and car wash equipment industry across the Northwest and Rocky Mountain region. The technician installs, upgrades, and removes petroleum fueling systems as part of a construction crew. Safe equipment operation, accurate installation, testing, sampling, and compliance documentation support reliable fueling systems and safe project delivery.

What you'll do

• Install and remove underground storage tanks
• operate excavators, backhoes, skid steers, and other construction equipment
• install underground piping, sumps, spill containment, and monitoring systems
• assist with tank and fuel-line testing
• collect soil samples during tank removals
• read plans and drawings
• complete reports and compliance paperwork
• follow OSHA, EPA, and state safety and environmental regulations.
