Resident Transporter

Job overview

The Resident Transporter role is onsite in Lincolnton, NC. Compensation is $10–$16 per hour. Heath House seeks to provide residents with safe transportation to medical appointments, community activities, and other outings. The transporter drives residents to scheduled destinations, assists with boarding and exiting, coordinates routes and schedules, and maintains vehicle readiness and transportation records. The role supports residents’ safety, comfort, and participation in appointments and activities.

What you'll do

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other activities
• assist residents when boarding and exiting vehicles
• keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and maintained and report issues
• coordinate schedules and routes with staff and residents
• follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility protocols
• maintain transportation logs and report incidents or concerns
• provide friendly, professional service.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Previous transportation, healthcare, or customer service experience is preferred; training to operate a passenger transport vehicle may be provided if necessary.
