What you'll do

• Retrieve discharged patient records and track receipt
• prepare documents for scanning by organizing pages and removing fasteners
• scan records into One Content and maintain scanner equipment
• index documents to the correct patient and encounter
• review image quality and correct scanning issues
• identify missing documents, signatures, or text and notify appropriate departments
• assign deficiencies according to procedure
• perform clerical duties related to birth records and certificates
• maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
