Field Survey Technician

Job overview

The Field Survey Technician role is onsite in Birmingham, MI, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. The technician performs field survey work that supports the firm’s surveying and civil engineering consulting services. The role prepares and maintains field equipment, clears survey lines, and marks and measures survey points.

What you'll do

• Locate and drive stakes
• transport and stock supplies in the field vehicle
• care for and maintain equipment
• safely use tools including a hammer, machete, chainsaw, and shovel
• clear survey centerlines
• paint and mark laths
• operate a level rod and prism pole.
