What you'll do

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients following a range of surgeries, including vascular, general, thoracic, gynecologic, neurologic, orthopedic, kidney transplant, and Whipple procedures.
• The posting notes ventricular drains are used in PACU, while patients requiring ICP monitoring go directly to ICU.
• Candidates must be familiar with arterial and central lines, vasoactive and sedative drips, chest tubes, and tracheostomies.
• Prior ICU and/or high-acuity PACU experience is preferred.
• The listed schedule has variable day and night starts at 0700, 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100, and 1900.
