The Sous Chef – Tenleytown role is onsite in Washington, DC. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. SEOULSPICE serves Korean food made from scratch using family-inspired recipes, fresh produce, house-marinated meats, and sauces and toppings. The Sous Chef cooks proteins and supports kitchen leadership by keeping the service line stocked with fresh food while limiting excess and waste. The role also supports guest service and digital orders as restaurant needs change.

What you'll do

• Cook proteins according to recipes and standards for flavor, freshness, temperature, and presentation
• monitor product levels and prepare appropriate quantities
• follow FIFO, labeling, dating, cooling, holding, storage, and food-safety procedures
• keep cooking and preparation areas clean and stocked
• support the front line, prepare digital orders, and work other stations when needed.
