The Cook — Nights & Weekends role is onsite in Wichita, KS. Compensation starts at $13–$16 per hour. The position supports Jason’s Deli’s back-of-house food preparation and service operations. The role prepares and sets up food and supports multiple back-of-house positions during shifts, helping maintain the flow of deli service. Duties may include food preparation, sandwich and salad work, expediting, food running, bussing, and dishwashing.

What you'll do

• Perform back-of-house setup such as vegetable and fruit preparation, salad bar and line setup, meat slicing, catering and bread preparation, and bus or dish setup
• work shift positions including sandwich maker, expeditor, drink person, salad bar restocker, food runner, bus person, and dishwasher
• follow food-handling and dress-code requirements.
