Product Specialist, Motion Control Systems

The Product Specialist, Motion Control Systems role is an onsite outside technical sales position based in Farmington, MI, with regional travel throughout Michigan and/or Ohio and occasional overnight travel. The specialist provides technical product expertise and sales guidance to help customers select and apply motion control solutions. By working with customers, sales representatives, manufacturers, and internal teams, the role supports territory growth and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Drive motion control sales growth
• provide product selection, application support, and technical guidance
• size and commission VFD and servo systems and size gearboxes and gearmotors
• conduct joint sales calls
• present technologies through visits, workshops, seminars, and training
• develop product sales and marketing strategies
• prepare proposals and quotations
• maintain stakeholder relationships
• coordinate training and sales support
• assist with forecasting, planning, inventory coordination, and expediting
• and participate in manufacturer and industry events.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience. Regional travel in Michigan and/or Ohio is required; occasional overnight travel may be needed. Experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, or servo drives is required.
