Water Damage Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Water Damage Restoration Technician role is onsite in Alexandria, VA. Pay is $21–$25 per hour. The technician supports RESTORECORE’s residential and commercial restoration projects and helps customers recover from property damage. The role responds to water damage, performs mitigation and restoration work, and documents drying progress. It combines water extraction, structural drying, equipment setup, moisture monitoring, and removal of damaged materials with customer and project-manager communication.

What you'll do

• Respond to water damage and emergency restoration projects
• extract water and perform structural drying, dehumidification, and cleanup
• set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment
• take moisture readings and document progress
• remove damaged building materials
• apply antimicrobial treatments when needed
• document work
• communicate with customers and project managers
• maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools
• follow safety requirements
• participate in an on-call rotation.
