What you'll do

• Read and interpret shop drawings, dimensions, and work instructions
• measure, mark, cut, form, fit, and assemble stainless-steel components
• operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely
• perform TIG welding or learn stainless-steel welding techniques depending on experience and assignment
• grind, blend, and finish welds and surfaces
• check dimensions, fit, finish, and quality
• identify drawing, material, or production issues
• communicate questions to supervisors
• complete assigned work accurately and within expected production times
• care for materials, tools, and equipment
• maintain an orderly work area
• follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment
• cooperate with production departments and participate in training and continuous improvement.
