Horizons Youth Services provides educational and job training programs to help young people succeed in the job market. The teacher plans and delivers literacy instruction based on student needs, abilities, and goals. The role assesses and reports student progress, supports career readiness and placement goals, and contributes to curriculum planning and a safe, supportive classroom.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons based on student needs and learning styles
• maintain test compliance
• assess, record, and report student development and behavior, including scheduled evaluations
• support career development, placement goals, and Career Success Standards
• participate in curriculum committee work
• maintain classroom housekeeping and safety practices.
